These Terms of Service govern your use of Chase the Sun ("the app"). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these terms.
Chase the Sun is a navigation app that finds sunny destinations within driving distance of your current location, using live weather data. The app provides driving directions via turn-by-turn navigation.
Do not use Chase the Sun while driving. Always ensure the app is set up before you begin driving and that your phone is mounted safely. Chase the Sun navigation is intended as a driving aid only — you remain responsible for your own safety and the safety of others at all times. Always obey traffic laws and road signs, which take precedence over any in-app instructions.
Weather forecasts provided by Chase the Sun are sourced from third-party weather APIs and are provided for guidance only. We cannot guarantee their accuracy. Do not rely solely on our data to make driving or travel decisions.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Chase the Sun. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you should review these terms with a parent or guardian.
Chase the Sun is available as a free plan with limited features and a Premium subscription with full access. The free plan includes banner advertisements. Premium subscribers do not see advertisements.
Premium subscriptions are billed through Google Play on a weekly, monthly, or annual basis. Prices are displayed in the app before purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time via Google Play settings.
We do not offer refunds for partial subscription periods, except where required by applicable law.

All content, design, code, and branding within Chase the Sun is owned by or licensed to Chase the Sun. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the app without written permission.
Chase the Sun uses third-party services including Google Maps, Mapbox, Open-Meteo, RevenueCat, and Google AdMob. Your use of these services within the app is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of third-party services.
Affiliate links within the app may earn us a commission if you make a purchase. This does not affect the price you pay.
Chase the Sun is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that:
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Chase the Sun shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to damages arising from reliance on weather forecasts or navigation instructions.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the app shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Chase the Sun if you breach these terms. You may stop using the app at any time. On termination, your locally stored data will remain on your device until you uninstall the app or clear its data.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the app. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
